Dear Imagine Parents/Guardians,
Welcome back to another exciting school year at Imagine Great Western Academy! We know this last school year was tough on everyone and we are thrilled to start in person learning 5 days a week at our campus again! We’ve missed seeing our amazing students every single day and hope that everyone is ready to continue our hard work on strengthening our academic growth and building our character traits together as a community.
Even though we have some new health and safety procedures in place, we have a ton of amazing things planned again this school year, including:
- Academic Award Assemblies
- Character Development Recognition
- Learning Lab Classrooms
- Second Step Social Skills Program
- Family Events & Activities
- Peaceful Playgrounds Program
- 8th Grade High School Visits
- School Counseling Services
- Reading Recovery Intervention
- Winter Concerts
- Scholastic Book Fairs
- School Clubs & Community Garden
We are also excited to continue providing our students with the academic support they need with our SUCCESS instructional blocks for both reading and math. These blocks of time really allow us to help our students either get the additional remediation and help that they need to show progress or push them to extend their thinking overall. We will continue implementing our full day parent teacher conferences in order to best meet the needs of our parents and allow us to work together and communicate about student progress.
We want to thank you for continuing to choose Imagine Great Western Academy as the best educational fit for your child. We appreciate your on-going support of our school and the safe, rigorous environment that we provide to our students and families every single day.
We look forward to seeing you at our Open House on August 23rd from 4-6 pm. Please come in and meet your child’s teacher and tour the school for the 2021-2022 school year.
Enjoy the rest of your summer and we will see you on August 25th for the first day of school!
