Dear Great Western Lunch Family:
The purpose of this letter is to notify you that a contractor at Great Western Academy has tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19). The contractor was last at the school on July 8th and he was not symptomatic at that time. While at school, he wore gloves and a mask. His responsibility was passing out meals to the drive-through food line.
Although it is not likely that anyone in the food line had significant contact with the contractor of up to 15 minutes, we are advising you of this situation out of an abundance of caution and so that you can take any action that you believe necessary, including contacting your healthcare provider.
In light of this development, the school is re-cleaning and sanitizing any area in the school that the contractor may have visited.
